Recipe for a tender cake: Easy, without sugar or flour.


 

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup cooked tapioca
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk or water
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed

Measurements

  • 1/2 cup equals 120 ml
  • 1 cup equals 240 ml
  • 1 tablespoon equals 15 ml

Directions

  1. First, crack the egg into a bowl and whisk until it becomes frothy.
  2. Next, mix in the mashed bananas, cornmeal, tapioca, and baking powder.
  3. Combine all the ingredients thoroughly and slowly pour in the milk until the mixture is smooth and consistent.
  4. Pour the mixture into a pan with a hole in the center that has been greased with margarine.
  5. Cover the pan with aluminum foil or a lid and place it on the stove over medium heat.
  6. After 30 minutes, take the cake out of the mold, put it in a pan, and heat it for another 10 minutes.
  7. Your cake is now ready to eat. Enjoy!
